In Celebration of All Lifeforms

0 0

By Madeline Ileleji

All the faces under the Sky

And all their zodiac signs

I’m calling the Star dust creatures

And pieces of the umbra eclipse

Together with the broken tide

And wild Seas compressing into ice

in far away Arctatica

Marion is a green villain

And atoms of the desert are raging

Hormones of life’s emotions

Sinking us into a never ending tomorrow

Wealthy men are parading gorgeous women

Who want to fit into the status quo

And their beauty and wealth

Is breaking into age

Pride and survival and the prices in between

After all we are all selling ourselves

For something, the prices are just different

On various establishments

And young men are fighting to keep it together

Today the world is laughing still

A happy day  in our problems congestion

Mother says lifes a dancing heel

It breaks and mends when you give it

A little stretch

The dandelions are dancing into

Windy moans

The moon is a fine emerald of

our dreams and fears

Yet glorious beings begin the day

Waving flags of all withering bands

Together we manage the roll call

Gods choosing his deceased today

And new babies are making their

Mothers weep for joy

And yet here we are  like a

Garrison in fine armours

Laughing out the ecstasy of soulful

Pleasures,

Poets, actors and actresses

Telling us tunes of life’s pieces

And the writers to take us

beyond a pirates land

Come celebrate the Joy’s of life

If you’ve ever loved and lost

If you ever failed and won

And however those tributes come

Bring all your merriment together

Lets put the world back together

In the way music seeks to rectify

The blinds of life’s imagined worlds

And when we are done, fondling and

Living in our remedies

Let us celebrate life among fears and

Insecurities and if we are lucky

We might make another night

Another memory

In the company of  fine people

And maybe too if are lucky

We might end life in love,

Or one of us dies and we are finally

Grateful and free

And maybe some of us will

Make children, and some of us won’t

And maybe too we will screw those

Children over

And then they’ll grow to decide

What wishes of the world they’ll

follow through the wind

And maybe some of them will

Have great mentors and others

horrible terrible bosses

Yet still in sorrow and joy

We are the dancers in Heavens terrain

Making melodies of lifes different beats

And God be surprised

What a spectacular mess we’ve become

And for a time or two,

our memories are all we have

For in the end we are the bearers of

all lifeforms and celebration

is our eternal song.
